Each page should have a unique title tag

This is usually the 1st thing a searcher sees in the Search Engine Results Page “SERPs”
Optimal format: Primary Keyword – Secondary Keyword | Brand Name
Important: Include focused keyword/phrase in title
Important: Your title needs to be very relative to what is on the page – “The title tag of a web page is meant to be an accurate and concise description of a page’s content.”
Title length: 10-60 characters is ideal since Google truncates after about 60 characters depending on screen size
Avoid duplicate or blank page titles

Each page should have a unique meta description

This is usually the 2nd thing a searcher sees in the SERPs
Needs to be relative to what is on the page and needs to grab the attention of your audience
Meta Description: Keep meta descriptions long enough that they’re sufficiently (160 char min) descriptive, but shorter than 320-characters
Avoid duplicate or blank page meta descriptions

Header tags
Best practices are to have at least 1 each of H1 and H2 header tags – no more than one H1 tag
H1 – Needs to be very relative to what is on the page and should include your keyword
H2 – Needs to be relative to what is on the page
Images
Image ALT Text should be included at all times
Images should be optimized for size and resolution
Don’t abuse/stuff keywords
